GROUPE SNPE is committed to protecting the safety of our personnel, the people living near our facilities and the environment in general.
Over the years GROUPE SNPE has built up broad-based expertise in pyrotechnics, making us a recognized player in management of Seveso-classified installations.
Our close relations with both local governments and community associations reflect our ongoing focus on improving the operation and management of our production plants.
Our Safety-Environment policy is based on the following principles:
Any possible failures in laboratories or the production system that entail risks for employees and the environment must be identified from the design stage and their effects neutralized before service entry.
Any person responsible for a process that entails risks must receive appropriate information, as well as the training and resources needed to comply with applicable safety recommendations for the use of this process.
The safety of a production system is the responsibility of the operating unit, and may not be transferred to a separate safety function, even if this function already exists.
Everybody, and especially management, must be involved in all safety and environmental aspects; this is a key criteria in assessing the business and its results.
